Microsoft readies more affordable Windows 365 consumer edition in anticipation of Windows 11 release

Hey there, so Microsoft is coming out with a new version of Windows called Windows 365, and it’s specifically designed for regular people like you and me. The cool thing is that it might be cheaper than the version businesses use.

With Windows 365, you’ll be able to have multiple “Cloud PCs” as part of your Windows 365 package. This means that you and your whole family can have your own virtual computer in the cloud, which you can access from any device with Microsoft Edge or other browsers.

The great thing about this is that you won’t be tied to a specific computer anymore. Your computer will live in the cloud, so you can use it from any device you want. This could be a game-changer because even if you have a low-end computer, you’ll be able to use powerful cloud-based systems.

Another bonus is that since Windows 365 is a cloud-based system managed by Microsoft, you won’t have to worry about updating your software, keeping it secure, or doing all that maintenance stuff.

Now, this new consumer edition of Windows 365 isn’t officially out yet, but it’s expected to be more affordable than the versions meant for businesses. The exact price hasn’t been decided, but it might be around $10-20 per month.

So yeah, it’s still in the works and things might change, but it’s pretty exciting to see where this could go. Hopefully, it’ll make using computers easier and more accessible for everyone.
