When Terry Myerson departed Microsoft five years ago, I lost an esteemed source, a confidant, and a person in whom I placed considerable trust. Nevertheless, I eventually came to comprehend that his tenure at Microsoft was, to put it politely, subject to shades of complexity. However, Terry also highly valued my input, actively seeking it in private. Moreover, he maintained the longstanding Microsoft tradition of recognizing that my criticisms were indeed constructive.
