Today’s release of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25926 in the Canary channel did not provide any insights on Windows 12, leaving those who were eagerly waiting disappointed. The latest build introduces just one minor change and includes two features that were previously introduced in the Dev channel.

According to the announcement post, builds released to the Canary Channel are freshly released and therefore limited documentation is available, focusing only on the most significant and impactful known issues.

Subscribers will receive three time-saving tips every Friday and as a special welcome gift, they will also receive free copies of Paul Thurrott’s Windows 11 and Windows 10 Field Guides, which are normally priced at $9.99.

The new build, 25926, brings two features from the Dev channel to the Canary channel. These include the new notifications icon in the system tray and new color filter options. Additionally, an update to the Snipping Tool app has been included, allowing users to easily edit screenshots in Paint and edit screen recordings in Clipchamp.

Overall, the latest build does not provide any significant highlights or noteworthy additions.
