The Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 stands as a high-end, premium business Ultrabook that boasts stunning aesthetics, top-notch connectivity, and unparalleled portability. It offers a choice between Intel and AMD variants, and there’s an option for 5G cellular connectivity. Despite its premium quality, the T14s comes at a reasonable price, especially during Lenovo’s periodic sales.

For those familiar with ThinkPads, the T14s retains a classic design that exudes sophistication and durability. The review unit in Deep Black showcased a unique combination of carbon fiber, magnesium, and aluminum. There’s also an all-aluminum Storm Grey version for those who prefer some variation.

Emblazoned with Lenovo and ThinkPad branding, the T14s carries the hallmark red “i” light, serving as a standout feature when the PC is powered on. The classic ThinkPad signature is evident in elements such as the scalloped keyboard, the easy-to-use dual pointing system, sturdy metal hinges, and the quintessential-but-arguably-irksome inverted “Fn” and Ctrl keys.

In terms of display options, the T14s offers a range of choices, including a 14-inch touchscreen with 16:10 aspect ratio and various resolutions. Noteworthy options include a 2.2k IPS panel with anti-glare and 100% sRGB coverage, and a 2.8k OLED panel with HDR500 capabilities. The review unit features a WUXGA (1920 x 1200) IPS touchscreen, boasting 45 percent NTSC and 300 nits. It fits the needs well and proves to be an excellent choice.

Under the hood, the T14s houses a 15-watt 13th Gen Intel Core U series processor, integrated Intel Iris X3 graphics, 16/32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and various SSD storage configurations. Although connectivity and expansion options are comprehensive, the left side has a heavier port bias.

Featuring Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.1, and optional 4G LTE or 5G cellular connectivity, the T14s also offers solid expansion options, complemented by a 65-watt USB-C power adapter. The security features, including Windows Hello, webcam privacy shutter, and Lenovo WiFi Security, contribute to the overall appeal.

Moreover, the T14s boasts impressive hybrid work features, and notable audio and video enhancements thanks to Dolby Audio and Dolby Voice capabilities. A minimalistic approach to pre-installed software and a manageable system of utilities make the T14s seamless and user-friendly. Lastly, with a weight of just 2.69 pounds and a price point starting just above $1100, the T14s is a compelling choice for discerning professionals.
