Microsoft has recently released the Windows 11 preview build 25947 for Insiders on the Canary Channel. This latest build focuses on fixing bugs and improving reliability, rather than introducing new features.

One of the issues that has been addressed in this build is the File Explorer crashing problem when accessing the Gallery view. Additionally, a bug that was preventing the app from working in safe mode has also been resolved.

Insiders will be relieved to know that they will no longer be bothered by a pop-up asking them to select an app to open the ‘ms-screenclip’ link after the recent update to the Snipping Tool. This update, which includes the new combined capture bar, is now being rolled out to Beta Channel testers.

The release notes for build 25947 also mention performance enhancements when switching between different pages in Task Manager. If you have been experiencing difficulties while playing popular games on your PC with recent Windows 11 Canary builds, the Windows Insider team is investigating these issues and encouraging users to provide their feedback.

Lastly, a new Microsoft Store update has been released to Windows Insiders in all channels. This update introduces a new Game Pass page, allowing users to learn more about and subscribe to PC Game Pass or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. This update was previously made available to Beta Channel users.

Microsoft continues to fine-tune Windows 11 with each new build, focusing on user experience and addressing any issues that are reported by the Insider community. Stay tuned for more updates and improvements to the operating system.
